As humans we can't help but make connections and stories about what we see. This is manipulated constantly by governments and news outlets for political gain. These drawings are about nothing, but given a title can be interpreted in many ways. The titles come from overheard pieces of conversation during my walks in the park . They are all taken out of context and are consequently meaningless. Yet we can easily read into the images something that is not there.
Roz Avent is an artist currently living in Central Victoria, Australia, who's work confronts the struggle to survive  and thrive in hostile environments. These environments might be psychological, physical or existential.
